Studies indicate that exercise motivation is frequently increased when you have like-minded friends who join you, egg you on. On the other hand, what do you do if you cannot find your regular friends to join you to the gym? Try the other way around and befriend the regulars in your gym. Hitting the gym at the same time everyday means that you are likely to bump into the same set of people. Interact with the regular set of faces in your gym and develop this social circle – it’s a great way to help increase your motivation.

Body’s response to daily schedules

Being aware of our body clock (Circadian rhythm) helps us enhance the effectiveness of our exercise regime (more on this down this post). But what if you are not a morning person and 6 a.m. is the only consistently free time on your schedule for a workout, does it mean that you are doomed to a sub-par workout? there’s good news: Studies indicate that if we train at the same time everyday, our bodies tend to adapt and energy levels rise to meet the demand at that time of the day.
